St Clements, Oxford

Working with Hodder and Partners, the Watkin Jones Group obtained permission for the construction of a student accommodation development located above an active public car park. The scheme comprised of 140 bed spaces of studio student accommodation, was the subject of a large amount of public opposition and is located within the St Clements and Iffley Road Conservation Area and adjacent to listed buildings (including the Florey Building). Permission was granted in March 2013 and the development was completed in July 2014, two months ahead of occupation.

This development was purchased by Knightsbridge Student Housing.
