The Pittodrie Street development opportunity is currently at the pre application stage of the development process. A Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) was submitted in December 2015 to Aberdeen City Council notifying them of the intention to come forward with a planning application for a proposed development to include the demolition of existing buildings on site and erection of student accommodation and associated works.
Details of the PAN can be found here or can be viewed on the Councils website http://planning.aberdeencity.gov.uk/PlanningSearch.asp using reference P151945.
As part of the ongoing design development of the proposals we are holding a public consultation event to outline details of a proposed development to the local community and to give interested parties an opportunity to feed into the design process in advance of submitting a planning application later this year. The event is being held on Wednesday 10th February 2016, between 3pm – 8pm at the Robertson Stove and Fireplace Centre, 15 Merkland Road East, Aberdeen, AB24 5PS.
Further information about the proposals will be available at the above event, however if you are unable to attend and would like more details on the proposals please contact Watkin Jones’ planning advisors JLL who can provide more detail.

The exhibition boards displayed at the consultation event as well as feedback forms will be uploaded to this website for viewing following the event. Any comments on the proposals at this stage should be made to the Applicant on or before Friday 4th March 2016. Comments should not be made to Aberdeen City Council. Any comments made to the proposed applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted by Watkin Jones Group to Aberdeen City Council, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
