As part of our commitment to engaging with the local community in the Groeslon area, we recently visited the three local primary schools to talk to the pupils about keeping safe. During our visit the pupils were tasked with designing a colourful health and safety poster which would later be erected on our site hoarding.
We received almost 80 posters in total and after much deliberation, we eventually chose our 3 winners. The winners were Brooke Fletcher – Ysgol Bronyfoel, Elis Massareli-Hughes – Ysgol Carmel and Elin Lloyd – Ysgol Groeslon. These winning posters, together with all of the other entries received, are now displayed on our site hoarding.
Last month we welcomed a small group of pupils to site to unveil their poster designs. The pupils were joined by local councillors, three teachers, Watkin Jones Contracts Manager Trefor Roberts and Site Manager Chris Hogan.
Well done to all of the pupils for their fantastic poster designs!
