|Client:||Countryside Council for Wales|
|Practical Completion:||August 2011|
This project included construction of an extension to form a tea room facility for Countryside Council for Wales within the Snowdonia National Park.
This listed office building was sympathetically restored and updated internally, and further enhanced with a modern cafe extension. All works were undertaken whilst working around the bats occupying the existing roof space.
Locally salvaged stone and slate materials were used on the new extension in-keeping with the existing building. Ground source heating was installed to serve the underfloor heating system.
