CCW Offices, Bangor

Client: National Resources Wales
Project Value: £2,427,975
Architect: Watkin Jones
Practical Completion: June 2011

This scheme included the refurbishment of the existing National Resources Wales Headquarters in Penrhosgarnedd, Bangor.

Due to the inherent nature of their work, NRW’s key objective for the project was to achieve a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’. The realisation of this is largely reflected in the works undertaken; full strip out and re-installation of Mechanical and Electrical services, including energy efficient boilers, lighting, photovoltaic panels and a full state of the art comms room.

Amongst other works, the external windows were all replaced, and the internal layouts re-configured to suit the clients subdivision of the building.
