About the role
Covering maternity leave, the role is based from the Group’s Head Offices in Bangor. You’ll report to the Assistant Finance Director for the Group and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable processing of the weekly and monthly payroll and all related payroll returns, alongside supervising the daily running of the Payroll Department.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible for processing of the Group employee’s payroll, including entering all new starters onto the system, tax code changes, student loan and relevant statistics. As part of the role you’ll calculate payroll, check all entries and run payroll, where necessary amend, recalculate and re-run payroll. The Payroll Supervisor also manages the Lodge and Expenses ensuring that all claims are received on time and authorised by the relevant line manager, and checking claims have original receipts attached and calculate the VAT.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who has previous experience of working in a Payroll Department processing payment for 500 + employees monthly. You will need to have a strong working knowledge of Payroll Systems and Payroll legislations. The ideal candidate will be able to work to a high standard with little supervision, and have a methodical approach to work ensuring deadlines are met.
