About the role
As an Assistant Design Manager for the Newmark Developments Division of the Group, you will be managing the design process from inception to handover, ensuring that the design meets the employer’s criteria, that the design is coordinated and delivered to meet the time and budgetary constraints of the design and the construction process giving due regard to cost in use and life cycle costing and buildability issues.
What you’ll be doing
Based from our Preston Brook offices, with regular travel to meetings UK wide, you’ll be involved with reviewing design proposals from internal and external consultants ensuring the most competitive and effective solution is arrived at, while supporting the Procurement Department in evaluation of alternative design solutions offered by subcontractors. You would also be responsible for researching new products for alternative forms of construction for the Group’s new developments.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for an Assistant Design Manager with experience of working on high rise, mixed use developments. Candidates will require a knowledge of AutoCAD design software and Adobe Acrobat with strong time management and communication skills.
